H. Alken Henry Oil Painting Fox Hounds Horses Hunting 17x12 Framed Painting measures 17 1/8" x 12 3/16" (43.5 cm x 321cm). The art is signed in the lower left corner by the artist. The painting has cracking and is yellowed. The frame shows wear and has chips, cracks and spots of missing paint. The sticker on the back says "Marshall Field & Company Picture Galleries 4031-6-22". This same number is on the back cross piece of wood. The picture depicts a hunting party on horseback with a woman in a blue dress and an unfortunate fellow who has fallen off his horse as well as a group of hunting hounds.
