Each chain comes with a Lifetime Replacement Guarantee. It should never tarnish or turn your skin green, but if anything happens to it, (the clasp breaks etc.,) you can send it to the manufacturer for a replacement. How They're Made: These chains are made by the exact same machines as 14 and 18 karat gold chains (and as a result, have the same sparkle). By heavily layering gold after the chain has been cut, you get a chain that looks and wears like 14 karat gold but is a lot less expensive. *This chain is not solid 14K gold, it is high quality layered 14k gold on a jewelers core.
